concept sizzle / I Nearly Lost You

In early 2025, filmmaker Pedro Correa, whose feature My Dead Dad is available on streaming, brought his editing team to realize a 90-second concept sizzle for I Nearly Lost You. Production was interrupted by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires of January 2025. They completed it anyway. That instinct — to finish the work regardless of what interrupts it — is the ethos of rootless films.
