concept sizzle / I Nearly Lost You
In early 2025, filmmaker Pedro Correa, whose feature My Dead Dad is available on streaming, brought his editing team to realize a 90-second concept sizzle for I Nearly Lost You. Production was interrupted by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires of January 2025. They completed it anyway. That instinct, to finish the work regardless of what interrupts it, is the ethos of rootless films.
