Series Premise
LOVE & DEATH is an ongoing vertical drama series. The first ten episodes are fully written — the standard spec length platforms expect from a new series before considering it — with the story built to run well beyond that.
It launches when Jake, a young solo artist at the height of his fame, makes eye contact with Asha at his concert, and the pull between them is immediate and inexplicable. What Jake does not know is that Asha was sent to kill him by Mara, an ancient force of Death who moves through reality itself.
But Life, it turns out, does not follow orders. Asha falls. Mara fires her. Jake climbs into his own coffin at a funeral parlor at dawn, and somehow that is enough to make Death reconsider everything.
